Questions to be asked.With all the speculation and remarks on facebook about the possibilities of an on the edge/out of town supermarket for Shipston on Stour. It raises a few questions in my mind.
1. Has ASL actually acquired the land at the bottom of Campden road for which they wish to develop.
2.If planning permission is granted,Will they/have they actually got any of the "Big Players" interested in building one,given that Stratford on Avon now seems to have the monopoly on Big superstores and brings the new Waitrose store within a 8/9 mile drive.And therefore could make building one in Shipston not a viable proposition for them.
3.Is anyone in contact with them (ASL) on a regular basis
4.Why have the "Big players" not been interested in acquiring land and building one themselves.
There are more questions. But. This will do for now!
